Jean Ellison
Jean Ellison, Entrepreneur
Born in Bronx, New York and a native of Blue Ridge, Georgia, Jean Ellison is an accomplished vocalist, educator, performer, choreographer, and entrepreneur with an extensive background in classical voice, musical theater, opera, jazz, and music education. Ellison earned both her undergraduate degree in Music Education and her master’s degree in Music from Jacksonville State University and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in music.
Throughout her career, Ellison has participated in more than 30 musical and theatrical productions, performing memorable roles including Sarah in *Ragtime*, Mrs. Ford in *Merry Wives of Windsor*, Mabel in *Pirates of Penzance*, Serpetta in *The Gondoliers*, and many more. One of her most cherished memories was performing the lead role of Gretel in *Hansel and Gretel* during her undergraduate studies at Jacksonville State University.
Classically trained under the instruction of Dr. Richard Armstrong and Dr. Nathan Wight, Ellison has performed an extensive repertoire of operatic arias, recitatives, art songs, folk songs, spirituals, and musical theater selections. Some of her favorite featured performances include “Glitter and Be Gay” from *Candide*, “Ah! Je Ris” from *Faust*, “Chi Il Bel Sogno” from *La Rondine*, “Ach, Ich Fühl’s” from *Die Zauberflöte*, “Un Bel Di Vedremo” from *Madama Butterfly*, and selections from *Porgy and Bess* and *Wicked*.
Ellison performed the soprano recitatives in Handel’s *Messiah* under the direction of Dr. Patricia Corbin and also served as a first soprano in Carl Orff’s *Carmina Burana*. During her time at Jacksonville State University, she performed seven lead operatic roles and served as soprano section leader for Chamber Singers, A Cappella Choir, Encore! Show Choir, and Civic Chorale throughout both her undergraduate and graduate studies.
In addition to her performance career, Ellison has devoted herself to music education and mentorship. She served as Graduate Assistant to the Encore! Show Choir. Ellison later stepped into the role of Director of the JSU Encore! Show Choir for more than three years.
Today, Ellison continues to focus on her catering company Mom-To-Go, while leading The Music Box, her thriving school of music that has served aspiring musicians for over a decade.
She is also the founder of TMB Talent and author of the new Recipe book MOM-TO-GO for the Mom-On-The-Go blending her passion for creativity, entrepreneurship, family, and the arts.
Ellison is beyond excited and honored to be a speaker at the upcoming CEILING BREAKERS SUMMIT this September!

Through powerful storytelling, practical wisdom, and honest conversations, Kristi equips women to reclaim their voice, rebuild their confidence, and step into the life they were created for.
After walking through seasons of trauma, rebuilding, motherhood, health challenges, and entrepreneurship, Kristi discovered that many women are not lacking potential…they’re living beneath invisible ceilings shaped by fear, survival mode, insecurity, and limiting beliefs. Her mission is to help women recognize those ceilings and rise beyond them.
Kristi blends faith, mindset, wellness, and personal development into a message that is both deeply relatable and empowering. She is known for creating rooms where women feel seen, challenged, encouraged, and reminded of who God created them to be.
She is also the co-owner of Harrison Sports Chiropractic and HSC Wellness, where she helps clients approach healing through a holistic lens focused on mind, body, and identity.
